Yi Ling Dai

Bio

Dr. Yi Ling Dai is a Board-Certified, fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon in Detroit, Michigan with advanced expertise in cosmetic facial plastic surgery and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Her aesthetic approach emphasizes balance, precision, and natural-looking results, with treatments tailored to each patient’s facial anatomy and goals.

In addition to offering injectable treatments such as BOTOX® and dermal fillers, Dr. Dai performs cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and other facial plastic procedures, bringing a comprehensive understanding of both surgical and non-surgical facial enhancement. Her background in oculoplastic surgery provides a unique level of expertise in treating the delicate eye and periocular area.

Dr. Dai earned her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College, graduating with distinction, before completing medical school at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. She went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at Tufts University/New England Eye Center in Boston, followed by advanced fellowship training in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at Tufts in partnership with Beth Israel Lahey Health.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Dai has contributed to the field through published research in peer-reviewed medical journals, authorship of ophthalmology textbook chapters, and presentations at national professional meetings.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Dai enjoys traveling, cooking, and discovering new experiences throughout the greater Detroit area.
